Terpnami Returns to San Francisco (Dec. 6-7) With 30+ Breeders and 2026’s Wildest New Terps

The titans of global terps are gathering for the 2nd annual seed show, Terpnami, in San Francisco, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7. About 1,000 gardeners, big and small. I will join them to drop in on 2026’s party waves of flavor. Featuring over 30 breeders on three floors of genetics, music, art, and culture for just $5, the daytime seed rave lays out a definitive sampler of where flavors and effects are going in 2026 and beyond.

Cannabis has dozens of aroma molecules, mainly called terpenes, and we keep finding more that play a role in flavor and effect. You can get weed that tastes like sweet sugary candy, or more tropical taffy, or funky passionfruit, or intense lemon, and even propane, or root beer. Start with the belle of the ball: global icon Compound Genetics revamps their hit strain Pavé (Paris OG x The Menthol) with new ‘candy’ varietals. Pavé is maximally blingy, like ice-out jewelry, with that bag appeal that Instagram craves. ‘Candy’ remains the top terp of 2025, and it’s not going anywhere.

“Pavé is stunning—it’s one of those crazy bag appeal strains,” said Compound’s Ruby Wagner.

Oakland-based clone powerhouse Purple City Genetics fields Daryl Strawberry with strawberry bubblegum terps from Strawberry Kush x 14 Bombers. 

“We’re pretty big fans of it. It has a lot of Strawnanna in it,” said PCG’s Auryn McCafferty. “It has this really nice, perfumey, strawberry bubblegum candy kind of terp, but it’s really strong from Kush Mints and THC Bomb.”
